In the midst of exams
I ask myself this question:
WHY are exams so important?
We gotta ask ourselves the reason WHY before we can figure out why exams stress us out so much.
As far as I know, and as far as I know to be true for most people, is that we’ve been taught by society that it is important because our future depends on it. And if we perform well in school, we will perform well later in life.
BUT, if...

You make me nostalgic for a love that hasn’t even happened yet.

This is so beautifully written and my exact sentiments. I really couldn’t have said it better.
The happiest of all lives is a busy solitude.

He Loves You. →

He loves you. He loves you right now. He loves you when you’re rebelling. He loves you when you’re submitting. He loves you when you’re awake. He loves you when you’re sleeping. He loves you when you’re wandering. He loves you when you’re serving. He loves you when you’re crying. He loves you when you’re laughing. He loves you when you’re at rock bottom. He loves you on the...
My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus'...

And hope, elpis in Greek, is a confident expectation of good.
Think about it.

1. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. - Galatians 5:4
2. Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, - Romans 5:20
So contrary to popular belief, when we sin, we fall into grace. (and when we believe in our own efforts, we fall from grace).

First paper today!
Arrived at school super early, like 9am. Who comes to school at 9am on a Saturday?! I’m the only crazy one. Literally alone in the free access lab. Which means that I can sing along to my music and no one cares so yay.
Anyway…. Feel like I shouldn’t cram anymore stuff in the last hour so here I am on Tumblr! Shall grace you with a few posts I’ve been holding for a while...
Shall end my flooding with this. BAM!
Law: Do do do.
Grace: It's done, It's done. You are saved.
Law: Makes you conscious of your sin.
Grace: Makes you conscious of being righteous in Christ Jesus
Law: Always condemns you
Grace: Never condemns you. Lifts you into the cloud of His presence, into the cloud of His glory.
Law: Took the disobedience of Adam and condemned us all.
Grace: Took the obedience of Jesus and declared you to be perfectly righteous in the Father's eyes.
Law: God says: I will by no means forget your sins.
Grace: God says: I will by no means ever remember your sins again.
Law: A revelation of how much is wrong with you; our fallen nature.
Grace: A revelation of how perfectly right with God you are. At the cross Jesus identified with you at your worst, so that in Him you can be identified with Him at His best. There's no height into the glory and acceptance of God. You cannot ascend, because there's no depth of darkness and depravity Jesus refused to descend into on our behalf. Grace takes the focus off us and our worthiness and puts the focus on Him and His worthiness and the glorious fact we're in Him.
Law: Sin abounded.
Grace: Grace has super-excessively more abounded. When sin and grace meet in the boxing ring, grace triumphs on your behalf every time.
Law: Makes you self-conscious.
Grace: Makes you Christ-conscious.
Law: Makes you ask: What must I do?
Grace: Makes you ask: What has Jesus done already?
Law: The burden is on you to perform.
Grace: The burden is on Christ has performed on your behalf already.
Law: Heavy burden with a difficult yoke.
Grace: Light burden with a yoke that's easy.
Law: Ministry of death.
Grace: Ministry of life.
Law: Demands of you. Demands you earn the blessing.
Grace: Gives to you. Has already earned all the blessings for you.
Law: Is dependent on you.
Grace: Is dependent on what Jesus has already done for you.
Law: You will always fail the law.
Grace: Grace will always succeed for you.
Law: Justifies no one and condemns even the best of us.
Grace: Justifies all and approves even the worst of us.
